Acorn provided growth capital and active advisory services to dental groups with more than five offices. Acorn was founded by Dr. Todd Christie, Tim Christie, and Andy Graham. The Christies have worked together over the past 20 years, having developed Christie Dental and Dental Partners.
Christie Dental was sold to American Dental Partners, and Dental Partners (public) was sold to Dynamic Dental Partners (a Huron Capital portfolio company). Mr. Graham was a Board member at Dental Partners and Pure Dental Partners (the acquirer of Dental Partners).
